Holy Cow IPA An American Style Pale Ale

American Style Pale Ale is a colonial version of India Pale Ale, originally produced for transport from England to troops in India during the 18th century. These pale ales are a highly hopped, higher alcohol version of an English Pale Ale.

The name of this beer says it all....hops galore! However, unlike other IPA's, the signifigant maltiness makefor an interesting foil to the intense hop flavor. Enjoyable with spicy foods!
